CELEBRATE SPRING EQUINOX
When the Southern Hemisphere enters into Spring, we will soon after reach the auspicious moment of Spring Equinox – a profound time of stillness in which we can tune into the perfect balance between day and night, before the light starts to grow even more.
Being held in the week of the equinox, which takes place on Wednesday 23rd September, this ceremony is an invitation to connect to the energy of balance. Together we’ll create a sacred space to prepare for the coming season in a conscious, intentional way. Supported by heart-awakening ceremonial cacao, we will enjoy an evening of inner reflection, intention-setting and conscious connections. It’s a chance to release what you’re ready to let go of and plant the seeds of what you’re ready to grow into next.
What to expect:
– A warm, candlelit space for you to relax and open
– Ceremonial cacao, specially prepared with love and spices
– Guided meditations for deep introspection
– Heartfelt interactive exercises
– Profound breathwork practices

What is ceremonial Cacao?
Known as “the food of the gods”, cacao has long been revered as a sacred plant medicine. It has been used in rituals throughout Mesoamerica for thousands of years and in recent times has become increasingly popular in spiritual ceremonies in the West. It is so much more than a warm drink – ceremonial cacao can help us to amplify intentions, go deeper in states of meditation and become more aligned with the universal consciousness. It is also facilitates beautiful states of emotional openness and supports connectivity and togetherness when used in a group setting.
On a biochemical level, the alkaloid theobromine in ceremonial cacao gently stimulates the heart, allowing for a profound sense of interconnectedness and love. Cacao also contains phenylethylamine which is associated with the release of endorphins, the body’s feel-good hormones. Combined with cacao’s serotonin boost, this creates an uplifting, euphoric experience while making you feel calm and at peace.
As it is a vasodilator, theobromine relaxes the blood vessels and enhances blood flow. Regular consumption of cacao has been associated with improved blood circulation and a reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases. Improved blood circulation is crucial for delivering oxygen and nutrients to brain cells and optimises cognitive function. Drinking cacao may contribute to better memory, increased focus and enhanced overall brain health.
If you have any pre-existing heart conditions or are pregnant or breast feeding, it is good to consult your medical practitioner before consuming ceremonial cacao.

what people are saying
"It was my first time participating at an event using cacao and the effects of the cacao were truly obvious. I could feel how I became more centred in my heart and how my heart was awakening. I felt how this increased the effectiveness of all the techniques we did to reconnect us to ourselves. Thank you, you are a wonderful and kind teacher!"
Catherine D.
"This cacao ceremony was a beautiful and grounding experience. It created a gentle space to open the heart, release what no longer serves and reconnect with intention and gratitude. I left feeling open, aligned and deeply nourished."
Charlotte H.
"The cacao ceremony was enlightening. By dedicating the space with heart, Nina led a wonderful community of humble and open individuals from different walks of life. The mood organically aligned with the power of the solstice somehow. Looking into complete stranger’s eyes during the course of the ceremony I was moved. With zero expectation I left having set intentions for the year energised."
Lachlan S.
"Thank you so much Nina for choosing me to attend your first event, quite an honour. It was absolutely sensational, your loveable voice went through very smoothly. Healing peoples’ hearts or helping them to find a way is not a job or a business, it’s a talent, a gift from God."
Ramy N.
" Thank you to Nina for the summer solstice cacao ceremony. It's a great way to appreciate the seasons & special moments in nature. Nina encouraged us to make some positive intentions for the new year ahead.
A nice chance to reconnect with ourselves & other like minded people. I had a good time & the sound bowl was great!"
Jade S.
"This was my second Solsctice Cereminy organised by Nina and her helpers, and it was so uplifting and centering for me. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and yet little solemn, as partaking in a sacrament should be. Nina does a wonderful job facilitating and left feeling energised and refreshed emotionally and spiritually."
Lyle N.
"I’m so grateful you invited me to your event — it was an absolutely lovely experience. It felt spiritually immersive, and I could see how much people enjoyed it, myself included. I really appreciated how you designed the different sections and how they flowed so seamlessly together. Your guidance was also very thoughtful, especially in anticipating how people might respond and giving them options and a sense of agency."
Karen W.
"I really enjoyed the Autumn Equinox Cacao Ceremony. It was the perfect invitation for self-reflection, and a welcome moment to slow down and take the time to sit in reverence for the beginning of Autumn - acknowledging how seasonal change can provide a chance for personal change as well. Nina was a fantastic facilitator of the experience, guiding us through a variety of meditations as well as the cacao ritual herself. Her presence was calming and really helped to create a reverent atmosphere for the event."
Matt P.
"Really incredible, left me with the realisation that the other is me and that we are one and now I am carrying this throughout my day, it's so beautiful."
George A.
"As a first timer, I didn’t really know what to expect, but I knew it would be a beautiful experience. A lovely opportunity for reflection and dedicated time to focus on the inner world. Felt very calm and full of love. The candle lighting was emotional and having family members there, and hosting (!!!!) was very special."
Sarah W.
"A unique and moving experience - Nina is an excellent facilitator and ran a genuinely unforgettable evening."

You did a wonderful heart warming session and I hope you are able to continue with these types of sessions."
